Cantor, Eric I.
1963 - He was born in Richmond, Virginia on the 6th of June.
- Cantor attended George Washington University, received his J.D. from the College of William and Mary, and did graduate work at Columbia University.
1992-2001- Cantor was elected to the Virginia House of Delegates, when he was elected to the House.
2002 - Cantor is a member of the House Ways and Means Committee. Cantor was named Chief Deputy Majority Whip, after one term in the House.
2005 - On the 8th of June, he criticized Howard Dean for referring to the Republican Party as a "white, Christian party".
2006 - In the midterm elections, Cantor defeated Jim Nachman, the Democratic nominee and Independent candidate Dr. Brad Blanton. Cantor received 64% of the votes.
