Campbell, Milton Grey
1933 - Born on the 9th of December in Plainfield, New Jersey. He is an American decathlon athlete of the 1950s.
1952 - Attended Plainfield High School and competed in track and swimming.
- Campbell won silver medal in Olympic decathlon.
- He has received numerous honors, including being named the world's greatest high school athlete.
1956 - At Melbourne, Campbell won the gold medal in Olympic decathlon.
1957 - He was a national champion in the high hurdles, he set a 120-yard high hurdles record of 13.4 and held the world indoor best of 7.0 for the 60-yard high hurdles.
1959 - Played in the National Football League for the Cleveland Browns and for the Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League.
1989 - He was inducted in the Hall of Fame.
