1984-1986 - She was called to the British Columbia Bar and practiced law in Vancouver.

1990- She was a Canadian attorney general and justice minister.
1993 - She was the leader of Progressive Conservative Party.
- She was prime minister of Canada (1st female prime minister).
1999 - She chaired the Council of Women World Leaders, a network of women who hold or have held the office of president or prime minister.
2003 - She served as President of the International Women's Forum, a global organization of women of preeminent achievement whose headquarters is in Washington, D.C.
2004 - Campbell assumed the role of Secretary General of the organization.
