1863 - Joseph Marie Auguste Caillaux was born on the 30th of March.

1911-1912 - He served as prime minister of France.

1914 - He resigned as Minister of Finance after his wife Henriette shot Gaston Calmette.

         - Caillaux became the leader of a peace party in the Assembly during World War I.

1918 - He was arrested and put in trial for treason.

1944 - He died on the 22nd of November and was interred in the Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris.
