Butler, Robert Neil

1975 - He became the founding Director of the National Institute on Aging (NIA) of the National Institutes of Health.
1976 - He won the Pulitzer Prize for General Non-Fiction.
1982 - He founded the Department of Geriatrics and Adult Development at The Mount Sinai Medical Center.
1990 - He established the U.S. branch of the International Longevity Center (ILC) at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
