1959 - She made her Broadway debut in Once upon a Mattress.
1966 - 1977 - The weekly Carol Burnett Show became one of television's most popular programs and won her five Emmy Awards.
1972 - 1982 - She acted in several films, including Pete ‘n' Tillie and Annie.
1995 - She returned to Broadway in Moon over Buffalo.
2003 - She was a recipient of the Kennedy Center Honors at the age of 70.
2005 - President George W. Bush awarded her the Presidential Medal of Freedom on the 9th of November.
