1920 - Born on February 13th in Shellman, Georgia. American singer and songwriter.
1937-1938 - Boudleaux Bryant played with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
1945 - He joined Hank Penny and His Radio Cowboys and performed regularly on WSB in Atlanta.

1948 - Fred Rose of Acuff-Rose had Little Jimmy Dickens record their song, “Country Boy,” which garnered a #7 hit on the country music chart.
1950 - At Rose’s invitation, the Bryants moved to Nashville and became full-time songwriters.
- They began writing songs together and working for Acuff-Rose Music in Nashville, Tennessee, composed the classic 50s Pop and Country hit songs, "Bye Bye Love", "Wake Up, Little Susie", "Problems", "Poor Jenny", "Take a Message To Mary", and "All I Have to Do is Dream".
1982 - They also wrote the classic country song, "Rocky Top" which became the official state song for Tennessee and the "fight song" for the University of Tennessee sports teams.
1986 - Inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
1987 - Died on June 25th in Nashville, Tennessee.
- As a couple, Boudleaux and Felice Bryant earned dozens of BMI Country, Pop and R&B music awards. They were inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Rockabilly Hall of Fame.
