1949 - He was made partner of Ammann and Whitney.
1964 - Milton Brumer was chief engineer in charge of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge, the longest suspension bridge in the world (4,260 ft.).
1965 - He became the president of Ammann and Whitney.
1999 - Died on August 5th in Boca, Raton, Florida at the age of 97.
