Bronk, Detlev Wulf
1897 - Born on August 13th in New York. American biologist and administrator.
1920 - Graduated from Swarthmore College and received his B.A.
1926 - Received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan.
1929 - He was professor of medical physics at the University of Pennsylvania.
1936 - Became the director of the Institute of Neurology.
1949 - He was the president of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
1950 - President of the National Academy of Sciences.
1953 - He became president of the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research (now Rockefeller University), New York City.
1975 - He died on November 17th.
