Brady, John Green
1847 - Born on May 26th in New York City. American Presbyterian clergyman, missionary, and Republican politician.
1874 - Graduated from Yale University.
1877 - He was a graduate of Union Theological Seminary.
1878 - He was the co-founder of Sheldon Jackson College.
1897 - He was the Territorial Governor of Alaska.
- As governor, he pursued Native Alaskan civil rights.
1906 - Forced to resign as governor after an inquiry about his involvement with the Reynolds-Alaska Development Company.
1918 - Died of stroke on December 17th and was buried in Sitka, Alaska.
