1754 - Bradley was born in Wallingford, Connecticut on the 20th of February.

1775 - Bradley spent his childhood in Wallingford and studied at Yale, graduating.

1779 - Bradley moved to Vermont, He studied law, settled in Westminster, Vermont and began practicing law there.

1783 - He also served as a county judge and served for seven years in the Vermont House of Representatives.

         - He served as Speaker of the Vermont House.

1791 - When Vermont became part of the United States on the 4th of March, Bradley and Moses Robinson were elected by the state legislature to be the first people to fill Vermont's two senate seats.

1791 - Bradley entered the United States Senate and supported the anti-administration faction.

1794 - He was defeated for reelection.

1800 - He was reelected to the United States Senate for Vermont, as a member of the Democratic-Republican Party.

1801-1803 - He served as President Pro Tempore of the Senate.

1818 - he moved to Walpole, New Hampshire.

1830 - He died on the 9th of December.
