Boxleitner, Bruce

1950 – He was born on the 12th day of May this year in Elgin, Illinois. He is best known for his leading roles in the television series How the West Was Won, Scarecrow and Mrs. King and Babylon 5.

1995 – He married on and off again girlfriend and actress Melissa Gilbert, with whom he has a son, Michael and a stepson, Dakota Brinkman, son of actor Bo Brinkman.

1999 – He wrote his first science fiction Novel “Frontier Earth” this year.

2001 – He wrote his second novel “Searcher.”

2003 – He was named to the Board of Governors of the National Space Society, a nonprofit, educational space advocacy organization founded by Dr. Wernher von Braun.

2007 – He is currently filming the movie “Babylon 5: The Lost Tales.”
