Bolkiah Mu'izzudin Waddaulah, Muda Hassanal
1946 - Hassanal Bolkiah was born on the 15th of July in Brunei Town, Brunei, the eldest son of Omar Ali Saifuddin III, the previous sultan.
- Received high school education in Malaysia's premier school Victoria Institution in Kuala Lumpur.
1961 - He crown as prince.
1967 - He became sultan on the 5th of October, after his father abdicated voluntarily.
- He graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in October.
1968 - His coronation was held on the 1st of August.
