Boldini, Giovanni
1842 - Boldini was born in Ferrara, on the 31st of December, the son of a painter of religious subjects.
1862 - He went to Florence to study painting
- He attained great success in London as a portraitist.
1872 - Boldini lived in Paris, where he became a friend of Edgar Degas.
1889 - Nominated commissioner of the Italian section of the Paris Exposition.
1931 - Received the Légion d'honneur.
- Died in Paris on 11th of July.
