Bok, Derek Curtis
1930 - He was born on the 22nd of March in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
1951 - He graduated B.A from Stanford University.
1954 - He was awarded J.D at Harvard Law School.
1958 - He finished A.M at George Washington University.
- He taught law at Harvard.
1968-1971 - He served as dean of the law school at Harvard Law School.
1971-1991 - He became the university president.
2006 - After 15 years away from the Harvard presidency, Bok returned to lead the university on an interim basis after Lawrence Summers's resigned on the 1st of July.
2007 - He will be replace by Drew Gilpin Faust on the 1st of July.
