1922 - Born on the 19th of June in Copenhagen, the son of Margrethe and Niels Bohr.
1946 - Became an associate at the Niels Bohr Institute of Theoretical Physics at the University of Copenhagen.
1948 - Worked with Ben Mottelson and Leo James Rainwater in Copenhagen to summarize the current knowledge of nuclear structure in a monograph.
