Bohmer, Johann Friedrich
1795 - Born on the 22nd of April, at Frankfurt-am-Main, the son of Karl Ludwig Böhmer.
- Educated at the universities of Heidelberg and Göttingen
- Became secretary of the Gesellschaft für ältere deutsche Geschichtskunde.
- He was the archivist and then librarian of the city of Frankfurt.
1831 - His first worked appeared an abstract, the "Regesta chronologico-diplomatica regum atque imperatorum Romanorum 911-131".
1832 - Edited "Die Reichsgesetze 900-1400".
1833 - Followed by the "Regesta chronologico-diplomatica Karolorum. Die Urkunden sämmtlicher Karolinger in kurzen Auszügen".
1836 - Edited "Urkundenbuch der Reichsstadt Frankfurt".
1854 - He edited "Wittelsbachische Regesten von der Erwerbung des Herzogtums Bayern bis zu 1340".
1860 - He died unmarried, at Frankfurt, on the 22nd of October.
