1910 - Born on the 4th of April in Bobangui, Moyen-Congo, French Equatorial Africa (now in Central African Republic). He was the major nationalist leader of the Central African Republic (formerly Ubangi-Shari) in the critical decolonization period.
1946 - He became the first Central African to be elected to the French parliament.
1949 - He founded the Movement for the Social Evolution of Black Africa (MESAN).
1957 - Boganda becomes president of the Grand Council of French Equatorial Africa.
1958 - He served as the first Prime Minister on Decmeber 8th.
- The territory achieves self-government within French Equatorial Africa with Boganda as prime minister.
1959 - He died on the 29th of March from a plane crash near Bangui.
- Boganda designed the current flag of the Central African Republic.
