Blundell, Edward Denis, Sir
1907 - Denis Blundell was born on the 29th of May in Wellington, New Zealand.
- Sir Denis attended Waitaki Boys' High School and Cambridge.
1928-1938 - He was a gifted cricketer, and represented New Zealand at international level.
1929 - He studied law and was called to the Bar in England.
1930 - Returned to New Zealand, practicing as barrister and solicitor in Wellington.
1959-1962 - President of the New Zealand Cricket Board.
1968 - Appointed as High Commissioner for New Zealand in Britain and Ambassador to Ireland.
1972-1977 - Served as Governor-General of New Zealand.
1984 - Sir Denis died in Townsville, Queensland, Australia, on 24th of September.
