1742 - Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher was born on the 16th of December in Rostock, Mecklenburg, Germany. German marshal against Napoleon.

1805-1806 - One of the leaders of the war party in Prussia, and served as a cavalry general in the disastrous campaign of the latter year.
1812 - He expressed himself so openly on the alliance of Russia with France.
1813 - He was again placed in high command, and he was present at Lützen and Bautzen.
1819 - Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher died on 12th of September in Graf (Count).
