1878 - Born in Stargard, Pomerania, German Empire on the 2nd of September. German Nazi administrator.
- He joined the German Army and served as a second lieutenant in the 73rd Fusilier Regiment.

1933 - Adolf Hitler appointed him minister of defence and minister of war and commander in chief of the German Army.

- Blomberg became Hitler's first field marshal.
1934 - Encouraged Hitler to crack down on SA leader Ernst Röhm and his followers, whom he believed posed a serious threat to the army.
1935 - He became Minister of War and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
1936 - The loyal Blomberg was the first General Field Marshall appointed by Hitler.
1938 - Blomberg resigned when he discovered Goering was planning make his information public
- Göring and Himmler accused Commander-in-Chief Werner von Fritsch of being a homosexual. Hitler used these opportunities for major reorganization of the Wehrmacht.
- Blomberg and his wife were subsequently exiled for a year to the isle of Capri.
1945 - After the war, Blomberg was captured by Allied troops and gave evidence at the Nuremberg War Crimes Trial.
1946 - He died while in detention at Nuremberg on 14th of March.
