Bottle, Brenda Anne

1946 - Born on the 20th of February in Ramsgate, Kent, England.

1975 - Her big risk paid off and after some early stage experience with the Bubble Theatre and at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry, she joined the Royal National Theatre where she worked with many of the UK's most acclaimed theatre directors.

1980-1981 - Brenda's British television career started when she appeared in the BBC2's playhouse presentation of Mike Leigh's Grown-Ups as Gloria, this was followed when she made a guest appearance in the comedy series Yes, Minister alongside Paul Eddington and Nigel Hawthorne.

1990 - Returned to the stage when she appeared on Broadway in Alan Ayckbourn's Absent Friends for which she won the Theater World Award for Outstanding New Talent.

1996 - Won Best Supporting Actress in the British Drama Awards for her performance in Neil Dunn's Steaming.         

        - She starred in the movie "Secrets and Lies".

2000-2005 - Appeared in the film "Pride and Prejudice", "On a Clear Day", "Beyond the Sea", "The Sleeping Dictionary", Plots with a View", "Sonny", "Pumpkin", "Lovely and Amazing", "Daddy and Them" and "Anne Frank: The Whole Story".         

               - She was an Officer of the British Empire.

2006 - Brenda's project is No One Gets Off in This Town with Gillian Anderson John Hurt and Jane Horrocks.
