Blades, Joan

1956 - Joan Blades was born in Berkeley, California.

1977 - She received her BA in History from UC Berkeley and her J.D. from the Golden Gate University School of Law.

        - Awarded J.D. from the Golden Gate University School of Law.

1987 - She was the co-founder with her husband Wes Boyd of Berkeley Systems.

1998 - Blades and Boyd founded the liberal political group MoveOn.org.

2005 - She has been a contributing blogger at The Huffington Post.
