1865 - Born on the 28th of June in Grünberg/Zielona Góra, Lower Silesia.

 

Studied in Leipzig Bierbaum became journalist and editor for the journals.

 

He wrote novel Zäpfel Kerns Abenteuer was an adaptation of Carlo Collodi's Pinocchio.

 

1896 - Wrote "Die Schlangendame".

 

1897 - Published his novel Stilpe, which inspired Ernst von Wolzogen.

 

1903 - Wrote "Eine empfindsame Reise im Automobil".

 

1905 - Wrote "Zäpfel Kerns Abenteuer".

 

1909 - He authored the book "Yankeedoodlefahrt".

 

1910 - Otto Julius Bierbaum died on 1st of February in Kötzschenbroda, near Dresden.
