1823 - Alexandre Bida born.    - He painted the "Massacre of the Mameluks" was painted in with black pencil, graphite and scraping on paper.   1861 - Alexandra Bida presented his version to the Salon Wollem de Famars Testas made it the subject of watercolor. 1895 - Alexandre Bida died.
