Bernstein, Eduard
1850 - Born on the 6th of January in Berlin, Germany.
1872 - Became a member of the Sozialdemokratische Arbeiterpartei, the so-called Eisenachers.
1875 - Prepared the Einigungsparteitag with Lassalle's Allgemeiner Deutscher Arbeiterverein in Gotha.
1878 - Private secretary of social democratic patron Karl Höchberg
1880-1890 - Published the magazine "Sozialdemokrat".
1888 - Worked in Zürich and was expelled from Switzerland due to pressure from Prussia.
1889 - Wrote a book "Die Vorraussetzungen des Sozialismus und die Aufgaben der Sozialdemokratie".
1891 - One of the authors of the Erfurt Program.
1896-1898 - Released a series of articles entitled "Probleme des Sozialismus".
1901 - Returned to Germany.
1902-1918 - Became a member of the Reichstag.
1913 - He voted against the armament tabling together with the SPD fraction's left wing.
1915 - Opposed the World War I.
1917-1919 - Founders of the USPD.
1920 - He was again a member of the Reichstag.
1928 - He retired from political life.
1932 - Bernstein died on 18th of December in Berlin, Germany.
