1870 - Born on the 21st of November in Ovsei Osipovich Berkkan in Vilnius, Lithuania.
1892 - Convinced that a violent act was needed to electrify the anarchist movement.
- Attempted to assassinate Henry Clay Frick, a wealthy industrialist.
Convicted of attempted murder and sentenced to twenty-two years' imprisonment.
1906 - Berkman was released from prison.
1908-1915 - Berkman contributed to Goldman's paper Mother Earth, and founded the Ferrer Center.
1914 - Began collecting dynamite they had obtained from Russia.
1936 - Berkman committed suicide just weeks before the outbreak of the Spanish Revolution.
