1912 - Beneš taught at the Charles University of Prague.

1916 - He was the Secretary of the Czechoslovak National Council in Paris.

         - Minister of the Interior and of Foreign Affairs within the Provisional Czechoslovak government.

1918 - Foreign Minister of Czechoslovakia.

1920 - Member of the Parliament.

1921 - He was the professor and also Prime Minister.

1923-1927 - Member of the League of Nations Council.

1929 - Member of the Parliament.

1935 - He served as President of Czechoslovakia.

1938 - Resigned to protest Munich Agreement.

1940 - He served as president-in-exile.

1945 - Once again he become the President of Czechoslovakia.

1948 - Died on the 3rd of September.
