1909 - Born on the 12th June in Rabbah, Sokoto State Nigeria.
- Graduated from Sokoto Provincial School and Katsina Teacher Training College.
1934 - Bello was became the district head of Rabah in the Sokoto emirate administration.
1938 - Unsuccessful to become the new Sultan of Sokoto.
1948 - He was offered a scholarship to study local government administration in England. Ahmadu Bello took the scholarship sensing he needed to shore up his knowledge about the process of governance.
1949 - Co-founded the Northern People's Congress.
1952 - Bello became a member of the regional executive council as minister of works.
1954 - Sir Ahmadu Bello became the first Premier of Northern Nigeria.
1959 - He led the NPC to win a plurality of the parliamentary seats.
1966 - Assassinated on the 15th January, military coup which toppled Nigeria's post-independence government.
- His greatest legacy was the modernization and unification of the diverse people of Northern Nigeria.
