Bell, Steve

1951 - Bell was born on the 26th of February in Walthanmstow, London.

1970 - Bell took a degree course in Fine Arts at Leeds University.

1974 - Graduated with a degree in Fine Arts.

Worked in a bookshop and other jobs and occasional day's teaching drawing and doing video projects at Jacob Kramer College.

1976 - Bell moved to Birmingham and was acquired to teach at Aston Manor School.

1977 - Became a freelance cartoonist and got married.

1984-1985 - Awarded by the Cartoonist Club Humorous Strip Cartoon for two consecutive years.

1993 - Received the XXI Premio Satira Politica International Award in September.

2003 - Bell was listed in The Observer as one of the 50 funniest acts in British Comedy.
