1847 - Born on the 2nd of April in Alexandria. 1865 - Studied in England and returned to his native cite of Alexandria. 1875 - The Times newspaper designate him to be the official Egypt correspondent. 1882 - He became famous for his coverage of the Arabi revolt. 1880 - He also began the Egyptian Gazette newspaper. 1890-1908 - Invited by owner A. F. Walter to help run the financially The Times. 1902 - He created Literature, a forerunner of The Times Literary Supplement. 1910 - Created The Times Educational Supplement. 1911 - Charles Frederic Moberly Bell died on 5th of April in London.
