1930 - Born on the 25th of February in South Africa. British art expert and nun.
1945 - Joined Sisters of Notre Dame.
1946 - Became a nun in the order of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur.
- Sent to England to begin her novitiate and studied at St. Anne's College at Oxford.
1954 - Attended at a teacher's training college in Liverpool and earning a teaching diploma.
- Returned to South Africa to teach at the University of the Witwatersrand.
1970 - Was forced to abandon teaching because of health problems and return to England.
1980 - She pursue her favorite subject of art.
1992-1997 - Host of 6-part documentary "Sister Wendy's Odyssey", 10-part documentary "Sister Wendy's Grand Tour" and 10-part documentary "Sister Wendy's Story of Painting".
2007 - Gave her blessing to Postcards From God, a new West End musical penned loosely around the events in her life.
