1894 - Born on the 4th of October in Warsaw, Poland.
1914 - Member of the clandestine Polish Military Organization founded in October by Pi³sudski.
1914-1917 - Served in the First Brigade of the Polish Legions, and was aide to Pi³sudski.
1926-1930 - Beck served as chief of staff to Poland's Minister of Military Affairs.
1930 - Vice Prime Minister and Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs.
1932 - He took office as Minister of Foreign Affairs, a post he was to hold until the outbreak of World War II.
1934 - In July, he concluded a non-aggression pact with the Soviet Union, January a German-Polish Non-Aggression Pact.
1939 - Rejected German demands over the Free City of Danzig and for a German extraterritorial highway to run across Polish Pomorze to East Prussia.
- Beck famously voiced his refusal of German demands in a speech on 5th of May.
1944 - Died in Stanesti, Romania on the 5th of June.
