1921 - Born on the 1st of April in Augusta, Georgia.
1940 - Jack turned professional and began his career fighting in Massachusetts where he established a record of 27-4-2.
1941 - Moved to New York in August where he continued boxing.
1942 - Jack fight against Allie Stolz to decide who would challenge for the New York version of the world title.
1944 - The famous fight of Jack's career was his fourth battle with Montgomery on 4th of August, so-called "War Bonds Fight".
- Beau Jack was the Ring Magazine fighter of the year.
1948 - Fought another hall-of-famer: Ike Williams, but he is unlucky enough to win, he was knocked out in the
sixth round.
1958 - The third fight, on 12th of August with Ike Williams marked the end of Jack's career.
1991 - Inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
2000 - Jack suffered from pugilistic Parkinson's syndrome and died on the 9th of February.
