Barton, Joe Linus

1949 - Joseph Linus "Joe" Barton was born 15th of September in Waco, Texas.

1972 - He attended Texas A&M University in College Station and received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering.

1973 - Finished M.Sc.(Master of Science) in Industrial Administration from Purdue University .

1981 - Became a White House Fellow and served under Secretary of Energy James B. Edwards.

1985 - Barton was elected as Representative from Texas.

2004 - Congressman Barton is the chairman of the Energy & Commerce Committee.
