Bart, Lionel

1930 - Lionel Bart was born 1st of August in London.

1959 - His first musical was Lock Up Your Daughters, based on an 18th century play by Henry Fielding.

          - Followed by Fings Ain't Wot They Used T'Be.

1960 - He wrote the music lyrics, and book for musical Oliver!.

1963 - Lionel composed theme for movie "From Russia with Love".

1999 - Bart died 3rd of April after a long hard struggle with cancer.
