Barron, William W.

1911 - William Wallace Barron was born 11th of December in Elkins, West Virginia.

Attended Washington and Lee University and the West Virginia University Law School.

1949 - Selected by the "machine" to be elected mayor of Elkins.

1950 - Barron was then slated for the House of Delegates.

         - He was re-elected to the House of Delegates.

Barron resigned his seat when appointed as Liquor Control Commissioner.

1960 - He was elected Governor of West Virginia.

2002 - Barron died on 12th of November in Charlotte, North Carolina.
