1976 - Angela Perez Baraquio was born on June 1, in Mililani, Hawaii.

 

1994 - Graduated from Moanalua High School magna cum laude.

 

1999 - Attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in elementary education with an emphasis in speech.

 

1999-2000 - Baraquio was a faculty member at Holy Family Catholic Academy in the Salt Lake subdivision of Honolulu.

 

         - Choir director of the historic St. Augustine Church in Waikiki.

 

2002 - Married to Tinifuloa Grey. Grey was her high school sweetheart.

 

Angela is the Founder of the Angela Perez Baraquio Education Foundation

 

Baraquio has worked as a spokeswoman for First Hawaiian Bank and First Hawaiian Center.

 

2002-2005  - Angela was the proud spokesperson for the First Hawaiian Bank, a local and community-oriented financial institution, which also has markets in Guam and Saipan.

 

She recently returned to the University of Hawaii at Manoa for a master's degree in educational administration.

 

2006 - President Bush nominated her to be a Presidential Appointee to the Council of Service and Civic Participation.

 

She is the recipient of the "2003 Women Helping Women Award".

 

Soroptomist International Club and the 1st "Hawaii's Filipina Young Woman of the Year 2004" Award.
