Greek Foreign Affairs Minister and former Mayor of Athens.

1956 - Born on the 6th of May.

1968 - The Mitsotakis family fled to Paris to escape the military dictatorship that ruled Greece.

1974 - They returned to Athens when military rule collapsed.

2003 - Voted by the majority of the voter to win in the mayoralty race in Athens (1st female mayor).

2004 - Dora successfully hosted 2004 Olympic games, and was the first woman to serve as mayor of a city hosting the Games.

2005 - She was elected World Mayor.

2006 - Appointed by Kostas Karamanlis to serve as Foreign Affairs Minister.
