Badran, Adnan

1935 - Born 15th of December in Jerash, Jordan.

He received his MS and Ph.D degrees from Michigan State University.

1966-1986 - Professor biology at several universities in Jordan.

1987 - Appointed first Secretary General of the country's Higher Council for Science and Technology.

1990 - President of the Arab Academy of Sciences and the Philadelphia University of Jordan.

1992-1998 - Deputy director of UNESCO.

2005 - Appointed as Prime Minister by King Abdullah II as part of a new government.
