Babbitt, Harriet

1947 - Harriet C. Babbitt was born.

1965 - Finished her high school at Brownsville High School, Brownsville, TX.    

Studied law at Arizona State University.

1968 - Married Bruce Babbitt a US politician they have two sons.

1988-1993 - Babbitt served as a director of the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI), an independent organization affiliated with the Democratic Party that promotes the establishment and growth of democratic institutions internationally.

1993-1997 - Became the US Ambassador to the Organization of American States.

1997-2001 - Served in Agency for International Development Deputy Administrator.
