Austin, Warren Robinson
1877 - Born on November 12th in Highgate Center, Vermont. American lawyer, diplomat and politician.
1895 - He attended the public schools and graduated from Brigham Academy, Bakersfield, Vermont.
1899 - He graduated from the University of Vermont, at Burlington.
1902 - He studied law, was admitted to the bar and commenced practice at St. Albans, Vermont.
1904 - Served as State’s attorney of Franklin County, Vermont.
1907 - Became the United States commissioner.
1908 - He was the chairman of the Republican State Convention.
1909 - Elected mayor of St. Albans.
1925 - Special counsel for Vermont in the boundary-line dispute between Vermont and New Hampshire.
1931 - Elected as a Republican to the United States Senate on March 31st, to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Frank L. Greene.
1946 - Was the United States representative on the Security Council of the United Nations, serving until his retirement.
1962 - Died on December 25th in Burlington, Vermont.
