         - Auchincloss was responsible for the then Jacqueline Bouvier getting her first job in journalism at the Washington Times-Herald.

1953 - He gave her away at her wedding to future president John F. Kennedy, which was held at Hammersmith Farm on the 12th of September.

1976 - Died on the 20th of November.
