- Arnold Aronson came to the civil rights movement as a leader of the National Jewish Community Relations Advisory Council (NJCRAC), a coalition of national and local Jewish agencies.
1950-1960 - As co-founder of the pioneering Leadership Conference on Civil Rights, a driving force behind the passage of the landmark civil rights legislation, longtime President of the LCCR Education Fund, and Program Director for the National Jewish Community Relations Council.
1963 - Joined Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as one of the ten leaders of the March on Washington.
1998 - Died on February 17th.
