Armstrong, Louis Daniel
1901 - Born on the 4th of August in New Orleans, Louisiana U.S.A.
1918 - On the 19th of March, married Daisy Parker.
1923 - He made his first recordings, while playing second cornet in Oliver's band.
1925 - He began recording under his own name with his famous music "Hot Five","Potato Head Blues" and "West End Blues".
1964 - He was top of the Bill Board chart with his music "Hello Dolly".
1968 - His highly sentimental pop song "What A Wonderful World" topped the British charts.
1971 - On the 6th of July, he died of a heart attack at the age of 69.
