Alpern, Anne X.

1934 - Became the Assistant City Solicitor of Pittsburgh, the first woman to hold the position.

1942 - Appointed by Mayor Lawrence as City Solicitor.

1961 - Became a Judge at the State Supreme Court.

1962 - She was elected to the Allegheny County Court.

1981 - Died in Pittsburgh on February 2, 1981.
