Alou, Felipe Rojas

1935 - Alou was born in Bajos de Haina, Dominican Republic on May 12, 1935.

1955 - Signed a contract with the Giants for only $200.

1958 - Made his major league debut.

1959 - Alou was joined by both of his brothers Matty and Jesus.

1963 - He was traded to the Braves.

1992-2001 - Became the manager of the Montreal Expos and was named 1994 National League Manager of the Year.

2003-2006 - Became the manager of the San Francisco Giants.
