1926 - Aloni was born in Tel Aviv, Israel.
1946 - Wrote for the weekly newspaper Ba'Machane.
1948 - Joined the army and fought the Arab-Israeli War.
1949 - After his military service, he was appointed to the editorial board of the periodical B'Ayin and became the literary editor of Ashmoret.
1950 - Went to the Hebrew University in Jerusalem to study History and French.
1953 - His first play, Cruelest of Kings was produced.
1961 - Habima Theater produced his play "The King's Clothes", which established him as one of the leading playwrights in Israel.
1963 - Wrote and produced the play The American Princess.
1992 - Became honorary fellow of the The Sam Spiegel Film and Television School, Jerusalem.
1996 - Received the Israel Prize for Theatre award.
1998 - Died of stroke in Tel Aviv, Israel on the 13th of June.
