1968 - Alomar was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on the 5th of February.
1985 - On the 16th of February, he was signed as a non-drafted free agent by the San Diego Padres.
1990 - Alomar and Joe Carter were traded to the Toronto Blue Jays.
1992-1993 - He played a large part of Toronto's World Series championships.
1994-1995 - Alomar holds the American League Record for most consecutive games without an error (104) from June 21, 1994 to July 3, 1995. He signed a contract with the Baltimore Orioles.
1999 - He joined his brother Sandy when he signed a contract with the Cleveland Indians.
2000 - Won the Gold Glove Award.
2001 - He was traded to the New York Mets.
2003 - Due to poor performance, he was traded to the Chicago White Sox.
2005 - Due to health reasons, he retired from the field on the 19th of March.
