Alexander Karadordevic

1806 - Karadordevic was born in Topola on October 11, 1806.

1830 - Married Persida, daughter of Chieftain Jevrem Nenadovic.

1839 - Joined the Serbian Army and was promoted to Lieutenant. Appointed as adjutant to Prince Mihailo.

1842 - Became Prince of Serbia on September 14, 1842. He started reforms, founded new institutions, implemented the code of civil rights. He introduced the regular Army, built a canon foundry, improved the school systems, and improve the National Library and Museum.

1885 - He died on May 3, 1885.
